During the past 20 years as a journalist, Anne Driscoll has written more than 2,000 stories covering social issues of all kinds. Her background as a social worker has informed her work as a journalist.

She specializes in writing about children, families, education, health, mental health, social and criminal justice issues. Since 2006, she has specialized in investigating wrongful convictions and her work contributed to several exonerations in both the US and Ireland.
